Narendra Modi began his three day tour of the US. He met CEOs of top US companies on Monday. He held rountable meeting with 21 CEOs of top companies at the Willard International in Washington. The top CEOs include that of Google’s Sundar Pichai, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, Apples’s Tim Cook, Amazons’s Jeff Bejos, Mastercard’s Ajay Banga. Mukesh Argi, President of US-India Buisness Council(UIBC) was also present at the meeting.
Key highlights of the meet:
- Mr Modi said that growth of India presents a win win partnership for both the countries.
- Mr Modi said that his Government have done 7000 reforms for ease of doing business.
- Mr Modi said that the landmark GST tax structure of India could be studied in US business Schools.
- According to Google CEO Sundar Pichai ,Mr. Modi looked for insights as to how India could attract more investments.
